The three payout bases
Share of the house edge
The program takes what the casino mathematically expects to win from your bets — wager times house edge — and pays you a cut of it. Stake pays 3.5% of that number; Duelbits pays up to 37.5% across its four Bits and level milestones; Shuffle works the same way but keeps its percentage private.
Share of the raw wager
The program pays a percentage of everything you bet, win or lose, and the house edge never enters the formula. Roobet's RooWards and BC.Game's monthly bonus work like this. The percentages look tiny next to edge-based rates — compare them through the effective RTP, not the raw number.
Share of net losses (lossback)
Nothing is paid unless your period ends in the red: the program returns a share of your net losses, usually with a cap. DuckDice runs weekly and monthly lossback capped at $2,000. It softens bad runs, but a winning week pays exactly nothing — which is why it is not rakeback.
Note: the game chips carry typical house edges — dice 1%, blackjack 0.5%, roulette 2.7%, slots 4%. Your casino’s exact game can differ (BC.Game dice runs a 2% edge, for example), so check the game’s own info panel and adjust the edge field. And where a casino does not publish its program rate, the preset leaves the rate at zero instead of guessing — enter the number from your VIP screen.

What is the difference between rakeback and lossback?
Rakeback pays on every bet — a share of the house edge or of your raw wager — whether you are up or down for the period. Lossback pays only when your period ends in the red, and usually carries a cap. That is why this calculator treats them as different bases rather than variations on one formula.
